Series Saturday: The Spy Episode 2

You guys... to say I was not expecting to like this series is an understatement. I specifically chose "The Spy" for the Series Saturdays segments because I knew I would only have to watch one episode a week, but man am I regretting this decision. I genuinely like this show. I enjoy the main character, Eli, and the side characters as well.
Where episode 1 was more about training Eli to see if he was spy material, episode 2 delves into his life as a new spy and his first mission. While on this mission he is troubled by being away from his wife for so long and he struggles with loneliness. To top it off, his wife has their first baby while he is gone and he is not even allowed to know. However, Eli is able to overcome all of this to be the perfect man for the job.
I give this episode an 8/10. I hope the rest of the season is just as good as the show has been so far!
